TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Introduction:

 

These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by ADTL Air-conditioning. By accepting a quotation or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

 

2. Services Provided:

 

We specialize in:

 

* Air-conditioning installations
* Repairs and fault finding
* Regas services
* Routine maintenance and servicing

 

All services are carried out with reasonable care and skill in accordance with industry standards.

 

3. Quotations & Pricing:

 

* All quotations are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated
* Prices may vary if additional work is required after inspection
* Any changes will be communicated and approved before proceeding

 

4. Bookings & Appointments:

 

* Appointments are scheduled based on availability
* Customers must ensure access to the premises at the agreed time
* Missed appointments without notice may incur a call-out fee

 

5. Payment Terms:

 

* Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed
* We reserve the right to request a deposit for installations or large jobs
* Late payments may result in additional charges

 

6. Cancellations & Refunds:

 

* Cancellations must be made in advance
* Deposits may be non-refundable if materials have already been purchased
* Refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis

 

7. Warranty & Workmanship:

 

* Workmanship is guaranteed for a reasonable period (3 months)
* Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied parts and equipment
* Warranty excludes:

  • Misuse or neglect
  • Electrical faults outside our installation
  • Pre-existing issues

  • Labour and travel to replace warranty parts


8. Customer Responsibilities:

 

Customers agree to:

* Provide safe and clear access to work areas
* Ensure electrical supply is suitable and compliant
* Disclose any known issues before work begins

 

9. Limitation of Liability:

 

ADTL Air-conditioning is not liable for:

* Indirect or consequential damages
* Losses due to delays beyond our control
* Pre-existing faults or structural issues

 

Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

 

10. Health & Safety:

 

We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe or hazardous.

 

11. Compliance with Law:

 

These Terms comply with applicable laws in South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act (South Africa) where applicable.

 

12. Privacy:

 

Customer information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

 

13. Changes to Terms:

 

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be made available upon request or via our platforms.
